Objective testing and re-examinations are performed in order to ensure that each individual patient receives appropriate healthcare.
The objective tests are a non-invasive way for the Physician to specifically evaluate whether the patients' spine, nerves, and muscles are working at a normal and optimal level.
Specific Range of Motion evaluations, Muscle testing, and Orthopedic Tests are performed in order to accomplish the goal of evaluating each individual patient's nervous system and how it is functioning. These tests allow the Doctor to change the treatment plan accordingly as the patient's body changes and improves.
Vertebral Subluxations reduce your body's ability to maintain optimal health. When Vertebral Subluxations are present, the nervous system is negatively effected resulting in increases or decreases in muscle activity.
The job of the ART Chiropractor is to find these Subluxations and non-invasively remove them with simple precise adjustments. Compared to some Chiropractic techniques, ART involves no 'cracking or twisting" of the neck or other body structures during the adjustments. Patients find this type of Chiropractic comforting and relaxing.
Muscles have a tendency to contract in response to spinal misalignments known as Vertebral Subluxations. These Subluxations create nerve interference which effect every aspect of a person's body including muscles, ligaments, blood vessels, and internal organs. Motion is Life and Life is Motion. If the body is not moving in a fluid normal fashion, dysfunction and poor health may result.
